Fees and Charges at Daisy and Rainbow
Hourly Rate
Under 3 years £6.70 per hour
Over 3 years £6.25 per hour
5pm - 5.15pm at Rainbow £2.50
Registration Fee (non-refundable)
Daisy £50 This is not charged to funded children who are accessing 15 hours or less.
Rainbow £100 This is not charged to funded children who are accessing 11 hours or less.
Consumables for Funded Children
Funded Children will be asked to pay an additional voluntary fee to cover the cost of consumables.
At Daisy this is 50p per funded hour.
At Rainbow this is £1 per funded hour (this includes lunch and snacks)
This is not requested for children who are 2 year funded
This is not requested for 3 & 4 year old funded children who are eligible for EYPP (see funding section below for more info on this)
Children who are eligible for EYPP and the Extended Entitlement (30 hrs) will be asked to pay the consumables fee on any funded hours over 15 at Daisy or 11 at Rainbow.

Sibling Discount
We offer a 10% discount for a second sibling.
This is not offered once the older sibling becomes eligible for government funding.
Absence
Fees are still payable if your child is absent, including due to illness or holiday.
In the case of hospitalisation, fees may be waived.
Late Collection Charge
If your child is collected late, warnings will be given followed by a charge of £15 for each 15 minute period or part thereof.
If children are collected late at the end of the day an automatic late fee will be charged without warning.
Session Change Charge
Session times may be changed, subject to availability, with a 4 week notice period.
It may be possible to change sessions with less notice, subject to an administration fee of £20.
Extra Sessions
Additional ad hoc hours may be booked, subject to availability, charged at a premium rate of £6.75 for 3 & 4yr olds and £7.20 for under 3s.
Invoices
Fees are invoiced via email, on or around the 1st of the month for the calendar month in advance.
Any outstanding unpaid accounts will incur a 10% charge against their next invoice.

Help with Childcare costs
Tax-Free Childcare
- For working families, including the self-employed, in the UK
- Earning under £100k and at least £152 per week (equal to 16 hours at the National Minimum or Living Wage) each
- Who aren't receiving Tax Credits, Universal Credit or childcare vouchers
- With children aged 0-11 (or 0-16 if disabled)
- For every £8 you pay into an online account, the government will add an extra £2, up to £2,000 per child per year
- For working families claiming Universal Credit, in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales
- With children under 17*
- Up to 85% of eligible childcare costs
- Who aren't receiving Tax-Free Childcare
- For working families, in the UK
- With children under 16 (or under 17 if disabled)
- 70% of childcare costs, up to a cap
- If you cannot make a new claim for Tax Credits, you may be able to apply for Universal Credit instead.

What isn't covered? The 30 hours free childcare offer is not intended to cover the costs of meals, other consumables (such as nappies or sun cream), additional hours or additional activities (such as trips). Providers may charge a fee for these additions. If you choose to pay for these it is an arrangement between you and the childcare provider.

The department for Education’s operation guidance states “Government funding is intended to cover the cost to deliver up to 15 or 30 hours a week of funded high quality, flexible childcare. It is not intended to cover the cost of meals, consumables, additional hours or additional services”
EYPP (Early Years Pupil Premium)
Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) is additional funding that is available to Early Years providers to support children’s development, learning and care.
EYPP provides extra money to the Early Years Provider for three and four-year-old children whose parents are in receipt of a qualifying benefit, are in care to a local authority or who have left care under an adoption, special guardianship or child arrangement order.
If you are eligible, your childcare provider could receive additional funding, on the 15 hour universal entitlement , to improve the quality of the early years education provided for your child. This could include, for example:
