Daisy Preschool
Daisy Pre-school is a non profit sessional pre-school for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. We are open on weekdays during school term times. A fun, bright environment where children can play and learn in safety. The pre-school has its own dedicated building which adjoins the Children's Centre with an outside play deck and access to a large sports field and nature trail.
Sessions at Daisy
- We are open Term Time only.
- Our opening times are: Monday to Thursday 9am – 3pm and Friday 9am – 2pm.
- Childcare will be provided flexibly with start and finish times available on the hour across the day between 9am and 3pm.
- Childcare bookings must be for a minimum of 2 hours in any one day and must be booked in with us over at least two separate days.
- Children who are staying for lunch enjoy a packed lunch from home together. Lunch is between 12—1pm. See our Healthy Lunch ideas leaflet here
Fees and Charges at Daisy
- Hourly Rates are £5.50 for 3 & 4yr olds and £6 for 2 year olds.
- A non-refundable Registration fee is £35 for children not in receipt of government funding or who are seeking additional hours.
- Funded Children will be asked to pay an additional voluntary fee to cover the cost of consumables. The minimum fee is £1 for a 2 hour session with a further 50p per funded hour. Additional unfunded hours are charged at our standard hourly rate.
- Fees are invoiced monthly in advance, via email.
- Any outstanding unpaid accounts will incur a 10% charge against their next invoice.
- If your child is absent due to illness or holiday, fees are still payable. In the case of hospitalisation, fees may be waived.
- If your child is collected late, warnings will be given followed by a charge of £15 for each 15 minute period or part thereof. If children are collected late at the end of the day (3pm) an automatic late fee will be charged without warning.
- Session times may be changed, subject to availability. An administration fee of £20 will be charged unless 4 weeks notice is given.
Funded Children at Daisy
- All children are eligible for up to 15 hours government funding the term after their 3rd birthday.
- Some 2 year olds may be eligible for government funding. Evidence of this must be provided.
- Some children of working parents may be eligible for the Extended Entitlement of up to 30 hours government funding.
- Funded children accessing additional hours will be invoiced with a reduction shown for the eligible funded hours charged at our current hourly rate.
- Funded children will be asked to pay an additional voluntary fee to cover the cost of consumables. This includes the following: snacks, drinks, arts and craft materials, resources, cleaning products, hand towels, baby wipes etc
- Children who are eligible to Early Years Pupil Premium funding or who access 2-year-old funding will not be charged any consumable fees.
