Sessions at Rainbow
- We are open Monday-Friday 8am-6pm, all year round except bank holidays, occasional staff training days and a short closure period at Christmas and New Year.
- We have a limited number of term time only places. Contact us further if you need to apply for one of them.
- Childcare will be provided flexibly with start and finish times available on the hour across the day between 8am and 6pm. The latest possible start time in a day is 2pm.
- Childcare bookings must be for a minimum of 4 hours in any one day and must be booked in with us over at least two separate days.
- We provide a home cooked family lunch (between 12-1) prepared in our own kitchen. We also provide breakfasts before 8.30am, snacks mid-morning and afternoon and a light tea at 4pm.
Fees and Charges at Rainbow
- Hourly Rates: £5.50 for 3 & 4yr olds and £6 for under 3s.
- Full day (8am-6pm) discount rate £52.50 for 3 & 4yr olds and £57 for under 3s. This is available only on contracted hours for all children not in receipt of government funding.
- Registration fee is £60 for children not in receipt of government funding or who are seeking additional hours. This is payable within 10 working days of confirmation and is non-refundable.
- Funded Children will be asked to pay an additional voluntary fee to cover the cost of consumables. The minimum fee is £2 for a 4 hour session with a further 50p per funded hour. Additional unfunded hours are charged at our standard hourly rate.
- Invoices Fees are invoiced monthly in advance via email.
- Unpaid invoices Any outstanding unpaid accounts will incur a 10% charge against their next invoice.
- Absence If your child is absent due to illness or holiday, fees are still payable. In the case of hospitalisation, fees may be waived.
- Late collection If your child is collected late, warnings will be given followed by a charge of £15 for each 15 minute period or part thereof. If children are collected late at the end of the day (6pm) an automatic late fee will be charged without warning.
- Session changes Session times may be changed, subject to availability. An administration fee of £20 will be charged unless 4 weeks-notice is given.
Funded Children at Rainbow
- All children are eligible for government funding the term after their 3rd birthday. Eligible children can access up to 11 funded hours across every week that we are open
- Some 2 year olds may be eligible for government funding. Evidence of this must be provided. Eligible children can access up to 11 funded hours across every week that we are open
- Some children of working parents may be eligible for the Extended Entitlement. At Rainbow, Eligible children can access up to 22 funded hours per week across every week that we are open.
- Funded children accessing additional hours will be invoiced with a reduction shown for the eligible funded hours charged at our current hourly rate.
- Funded children will be asked to pay an additional voluntary fee to cover the cost of consumables. This includes the following: snacks, drinks, suncream, arts and craft materials, resources, cleaning products, hand towels, baby wipes etc.
- Children who are eligible to Early Years Pupil Premium funding or who access 2-year-old funding will not have a consumable fee requested of them..
